FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
The things clients ask us most, without the jargon. Don’t see yours? Get in touch and we’ll answer it directly.
What exactly is VAPT, and do we need it?+
VAPT stands for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. In plain terms, we look for the security weaknesses in your applications, networks, and cloud, then safely prove which ones a real attacker could actually exploit. If you handle customer data, take payments, or are asked for a security report by clients or auditors, VAPT is usually where you start.
How long does a typical engagement take?+
Most assessments run one to three weeks, depending on how large and complex the target is. We scope the work and agree a timeline with you before anything begins, so there are no surprises and your team can plan around it.
Will testing disrupt our live systems?+
We design engagements to avoid downtime. Higher-risk tests are scheduled in maintenance windows or run against staging environments, and we keep a direct line open to your team throughout so anything unexpected is caught immediately.
Can you help us get ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certified?+
Yes. We support you end to end — gap assessment, control design, policies, evidence, and audit readiness — so certification becomes a milestone you hit on schedule rather than a scramble. We also help you keep the certification once you have it.
What do we actually receive at the end?+
A clear report written for two audiences: an executive summary your leadership can act on, and detailed, reproducible findings your engineers can fix — each ranked by real business impact. We walk you through it, and we re-test the fixes at no extra cost.
We think we have been breached. Can you help right now?+
Yes. Our incident response team can help you contain the incident, understand what happened, preserve evidence, and get back to business — then work with you to close the gap that let it happen. Reach out through our contact page and mark it urgent.
